I live on a mountain in Appalachia, in an acidic old-growth forest, with a pond and a creek, graced by all the curious creatures that wander through.
Long before there was Whispering Woods Botanicals, there was just lil’ ‘ol me, trying to feel better.
Living with chronic conditions meant spending years searching for products that were gentle enough for my sensitive skin and body. Too often, the products I found contained artificial ingredients, dyes, fragrances, and fillers, and they weren’t very effective.
So I turned to the plants.
I began learning about herbal infusions, oils, salves, syrups, and traditional botanical preparations. One jar at a time, I started creating the products I wished existed.
Friends and family tried them.
Then they asked for more.
Before long, what started as a personal healing journey grew into Whispering Woods Botanicals.
Every product is handcrafted in small batches using organic ingredients. Whether you’re looking for a soothing salve or a thoughtful gift, I hope you’ll find something here that brings a little comfort to your day.

Every creation at Whispering Woods Botanicals has its roots in a real need or challenge that I was trying to solve and overcome for myself.

Years of navigating psoriasis, MCAS, EDS, and chronic pain taught me the value of having reliable products for irritated skin, sore muscles, and tired joints.
These herbal salves are handcrafted in small batches using organic oils, botanicals, and beeswax. Both scented and unscented options are available because I understand firsthand that what helps one sensitive person may overwhelm another.

My elderberry syrup began as a search for gentle immune support during years of recurring illness and was later refined after COVID left my lungs needing extra care.
Crafted with local North Carolina honey and organic ingredients, these syrups are inspired by traditional herbal remedies and made without artificial dyes, unnecessary additives, or refined sugar. Symptom-specific versions will be available.

Digestive issues have been another important part of my journey, leading me to search for foods that bring comfort instead of distress.
Inspired by the medicinal qualities of marshmallow root, these handcrafted marshmallows combine simple organic ingredients with old-world herbal wisdom. They offer the same pillowy texture people know and love, without the corn syrup, artificial colors, or unnecessary additives. This nostalgic treat is delicious and gut-healing and will be available in a variety of flavors.
